STARTUP DESCRIPTION

What are you proposing?

Founded in January 2017, isahit is a socially responsible startup that bridges the gap between artificial intelligence and human intelligence. This tech for good française offers companies a digital sourcing impact platform in self-service mode or via a programmatic interface (API), for the processing of digital tasks that cannot be handled by artificial intelligence.
The community of HITers of isahit (HIT=human intelligence task) is mainly composed of women based in Africa, Asia and South America, looking for additional income to finance their studies or an entrepreneurial project. Isahit is part of a co-development approach by participating in the deployment of the CSR strategy of French companies and by giving new opportunities to the populations of emerging countries.
Isahit gives digital work to more than 1100 women across 32 countries and has a mission to bring together 10,000 HITers to create a social impact for 40,000 people within 3 to 4 years.

What need do you meet (Why do your customers need your product/service?)

We respond to the need for digitalization of companies.
Isahit now offers three categories of digital tasks:

• Computer Vision: image annotation, segmentation
• Natural Language processing: document search and collection, text tagging, video subtitling, verbatism analysis, ...
• Data & Content Service :
• Data processing: such as data entry, quality control, scanning, archiving or transcription of documents, ...
• Content management: including moderation of opinions and comments on social media and other collaborative platforms, video moderation, ...
• Data analysis: document referencing, database processing, ...

What technologies do you use?

Our main technologies are :

• the Symfony Framework,
• the PHP language,
• the Angular front web application,
• accommodation at OVH and AWS Elastic Beanstalk.
