The European leader in online do-it-yourself, home, and garden and the first platform for socially responsible outsourcing of digital tasks are joining forces to take up the challenge of inclusive AI, a factor of economic, social and human development.
ManoManois the story of a lightning development, which saw this start-up co-founded by Philippe de Chanville and Christian Raisson in 2013, become in a few years the leader in its sector, federating 3,500 merchants and 5 million references on 6 European markets. If the alliance of business and people has always been at the heart of the company's identity, whether towards its employees or its partners, it has always been careful to choose a player in line with its values. And who can support it in outsourcing its digital tasks, which are essential to the development of its business and the quality of its user experience. "It's a sector that has a rather bad reputation. It was essential for ManoMano to choose a partner with a strong and committed initiative, aligned with our values." remembers Sandra Arcal, Lead Partner Manager at ManoMano.
Looking for a partner to improve its back office activities, ManoMano is launching an invitation to tender at the end of 2020 in the hope of finding this rare pearl. That's when isahit enters the scene. Immediately, the current passes between the two teams, who speak the same language and share the same ambition: to achieve the alliance of human and digital. With its offer of socially responsible outsourcing of digital tasks, which allows young women in developing countries to learn digital skills while financing their entrepreneurial or educational projects, isahit was the actor ManoMano was waiting for. As much for its technical capabilities: isahit has performed more than 49 million digital tasks over the past 4 years, notably for major accounts; as for its human impact: isahit employs 1,050 women across 32 countries and aims to increase this figure to 10,000 over the next 4-5 years.

Initially, isahit works mainly on improving the customer experience: moderation of opinions, product categorization, image retouching, redesign of guides... But the two companies do not rule out expanding this scope in the future in order to maximize the human impact of their collaboration. To date, it has already made it possible to train more than 10 women in digital professions while helping them to finance their life projects.
Already a beautiful story, therefore, which only asks to be prolonged.
