Take part in the largest Ocean Cleanup in History!

Every year, millions of tons of plastic spill from our rivers to our oceans and by 2050, there could be more plastic than fish in the ocean...🐟

What if, this year, you could make a difference?

The Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit organization, is developing and scaling technologies to rid the world's oceans of plastic. This year, we wanted to help them in its mission and we partnered with Kili Technology, OVH & Weights and Biases to build the biggest training dataset of polluted ocean photographs!

The challenge

From December 5 to 9, 2022, label images from The Ocean Cleanup's on-board cameras and classify the detected objects. With a mix of human and model annotation, we will be able to label quickly to create the highest quality dataset and help accelerate the cleanup of our oceans.
